We met in the lunchroom in the tenth grade. 🙂
We dated through high school and college, and were married at our church home in Opelika, Alabama.
For the first two years of our married life, we lived in a Residence Hall on campus while we both worked on our degrees and he worked at the fire department. We absolutely loved it! I was a Hall Director and we fed the girls in our building lots of home-cooked meals.
Twenty years after that first shared lunch, we’ve moved a couple of times and settled in the country to raise our four kids! They help us take care of our cat, dog, chickens, turkey, guinea, goats, bees, garden, and all the projects that go with living on a small farm.
